طيران الجزيرة تحقق أرباح 8 ملايين دولار في 2006


مع تزايد الطلب على الطيران المنخفض طيران الجزيرة الكويتية تربح 8.7 ملايين دولار في 2006 حققت شركة طيران الجزيرة الكويتية للسفر منخفض التكاليف ربحا صافيا قدره 8.7 ملايين دولار في العام 2006 الذي كان أول عام تشغيل للشركة. وقالت الشركة إن إجمالي الإيرادات بلغ 74.5 مليون دولار بينما بلغ ربح السهم 8.7 سنتات. وكانت الشركة قالت الشهر الماضي إنها ستدرج أسهمها للتداول في بورصة الكويت في الربع الثاني من العام الحالي. وأضافت أنها تدرس الإدراج في بورصة دبي ثاني أكبر مراكز عملها بعد الكويت. يشار إلى أن طيران الجزيرة تملك أسطولا من خمس طائرات طراز إيرباص أي 320 وتقوم بتسيير رحلات إلى 20 وجهة في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا والهند. وتشهد شركات الطيران الاقتصادي (منخفض الكلفة) نموا في المنطقة العربية بعد تزايد الطلب عليها. ويعد هذا القطاع حديث عهد في المنطقة مقارنة بالولايات المتحدة وأوروبا وآسيا. المصدر: وكالات
